An analyzer should connect what is seen, said, and changed

A normal video summary often describes only the transcript. That misses camera choices, text overlays, demonstrations, reactions, edits, and silent actions. AdScanVideo combines selected visual frames with captions or a short-video transcript when one is available.

The result is designed to be used after the analysis: paste it into a brief, compare it with another creative, export it to Word or PDF, or turn the observations into a production plan.

01

Choose the right mode

Use Summary for a chronology, Shot breakdown for production detail, or Ad intelligence for hooks, pacing, audience, and CTA.

02

Analyze the full timeline

The system samples frames across the video and removes near-duplicates before sending the strongest visual evidence to the model.

03

Export the useful parts

Copy the report or download a Word or PDF version. Review important names, numbers, and quotes against the original.

What a useful video report includes

This example shows the format and level of detail. Actual results depend on the video, selected mode, captions, audio quality, and visible evidence.

VIDEO: 00:42 product demonstration

00:00–00:05 — A presenter introduces the problem in a medium shot.
00:05–00:18 — Close views show the product being opened and assembled.
00:18–00:34 — The demonstration proves the main benefit with an on-screen comparison.
00:34–00:42 — The presenter repeats the benefit and gives a direct call to action.

TAKEAWAY — The video builds trust by showing the process rather than relying on claims alone.

Best uses

  • Summarize short videos and interviews
  • Map scenes and key events with timestamps
  • Review tutorials and product demonstrations
  • Turn reference footage into an editable brief
  • Create notes that preserve visual context

What to verify

  • Dialogue depends on usable captions or audio
  • Names and numbers should be checked manually
  • Downloads from some platforms may be blocked
  • Only public HTTP(S) links are accepted
  • AI observations can be incomplete
For the most reliable result, upload the original file. Public platform links can fail when the platform blocks automated downloads.

Questions before you analyze

Can AI analyze an uploaded video?

Yes. Upload an MP4, MOV, WebM, or MKV file up to 200 MB and 10 minutes. The analyzer samples the timeline and returns a structured report.

Does the analysis include dialogue?

Dialogue is included when captions or a usable short-video audio transcript are available. Otherwise the report clearly states that it is visual-only.

Is there a free video analysis?

One analysis is free each day per network during early access. No account or credit card is required.

Are videos stored permanently?

No. The video and temporary audio, caption, and frame files are deleted when processing finishes, fails, or times out. We retain the analysis text and limited job and usage metadata so you can retrieve the result. Selected frames, available captions, and your request are sent to the configured AI provider during processing. Read the privacy details.
